	The customer needed a special optimization solver with custom API. Ziena researched the academic literature for the best solution, wrote detailed software design documents, and assisted in testing and trouble-shooting. Deliverables included a formal software design document.
	The customer, a large systems integration firm, needed an application with embedded large-scale optimization. Ziena partnered with the customer to help develop the model, write it in AMPL, and acquire model parameters from a database connection. The deliverable was the final production software.
